I love how one of the main cores of MAWS story is that people within the story with cynical mindsets can’t fathom the idea of someone with so much power wanting to do good just because he genuinely wants to. They think to themselves that he has to be doing all these good deeds for his own selfish gain, because no one, least of all someone who basically has powers like superman does, would ever just save and help people out of the goodness of their heart, right?
When in reality its like “ Uhh no. He’s genuinely a good guy who wants to help people”. I think this is one of superman’s core traits that makes him really amazing. His entire existence is suppose to be a reflection of people’s ability to perform genuine acts of kindness and the unlimited potential of the human spirit to be good. Like hey, not everyone is as horrible as you might they they be and there are people in this world who can offer you a hand for help if you let them.
